Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” jumps to No. 1 on global Billboard charts

Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” has reached number one on Billboard’s global charts excluding the USA for this week, as of May 13.

The singer shared Billboard’s post on her Instagram story, with her chart-topping song playing in the background. 

Recently, Carpenter celebrated her 25th birthday with her boyfriend, actor Barry Keoghan, Ice Spice, and several others. 

She made several references to lyrics from “Espresso” on Instagram, first posting a series of baby pictures with the caption, “that’s that me birthday.”

In another instance on her Instagram story, the “Nonsense” singer posted a picture of a cake that read, “Is 25 that sweet? I guess so!”

“Espresso” marks Carpenter’s first ever No. 1 single, released on April 11, 2024.
