Christian Bale, known for his transformative roles, took a break from filming his latest project The Bride to spend Mother's Day with his wife, Sibi Blazic.

The 50-year-old actor, who married Blazic in 2000, was spotted out with his 54-year-old wife and their 10-year-old son, Joseph, on Sunday.

Bale sported a casual look, wearing a black hoodie over his freshly shaved head.

Bale and Blazic's love story began on the set of Little Women in 1994, where Bale starred alongside Winona Ryder, for whom Blazic was working as a personal assistant.

Since tying the knot in 2000, they have welcomed two children, Emmeline and Joseph, and made their home in Los Angeles.

Currently, Bale is leading a diverse cast in director Maggie Gyllenhaal's film The Bride, which is being shot in New York City.

The film draws inspiration from the classic Bride of Frankenstein and explores themes of love, creation, and social revolution in 1935 Chicago.

Alongside Bale, the star-studded cast includes Penelope Cruz, Annette Bening, Julianne Hough, John Magaro, and Peter Sarsagaard.

Additionally, Bale is set to star in The Church of Living Dangerously, portraying preacher John Lee Bishop, who becomes entangled in a dangerous world of drug trafficking for a Mexican cartel.
