Queer Eye departure: Bobby Berk opens up

Berk teases upcoming projects, and highlights the importance of his husband's support in navigating new challenges.

Bobby Berk, the design expert on 'Queer Eye', has opened up about his departure from the show after seven years, 

Berk revealed his excitement about new projects both in front and behind the camera to Us Weekly. 
He expressed his gratitude for the experience and emphasised that it was simply time to move on.

Berk also shared his appreciation for his husband, Dewey Do, who has been his rock and best friend for 20 years. 

He credited Dewey for providing unwavering support, especially during emotionally challenging times on the show.

Although Berk's departure was met with rumours of conflict with the cast, he clarified in a previous interview that he had initially planned to renew his contract along with his co-stars. However, when only he decided not to continue, Netflix opted to recast his role. 

Despite initial disappointment, Berk has embraced the change and is focusing on his future endeavours.
