Rapper Kendrick Lamar has faced online criticism from some fans over his rap lyrics in "Not Like Us," which take aim at Drake.
In ‘Not Like Us,’ Kendrick referenced Drake's 2021 album titled Certified Lover Boy accusing the Canadian star of having relations with underage girls.
"Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles," the lyric goes.
Social media users pointed out that the lyric is copied from a 2021 Tweet.

"What OVO for? The 'Other V******l Option.' Let me hear you say, 'OV-ho'," the track says, similar to a tweet from 2016.

In an online discussion, critics flocked to X, previously referred to as Twitter, alleging that Kendrick had allegedly appropriated their tweets and transformed them into song lyrics.

"Plagiarism Kendrick," a user accused the rapper in the online thread.
"In rap, everything is an inspiration, you can look at [Twitter] and get free rap disses. [Kendrick] used his community to cook Drake," another fan wrote.
An X user said, "I literally see this as Kendrick using those tweets to form a spirit bomb that ended Drake and it did and nothing can change that now."
