Bakhtawar
Bakhtawar, which aired in 2022, featured Yumna in the title role as a young headstrong girl who wanted to escape her difficulties and create a better tomorrow for herself. She does so by disguising herself as a man in order to get a job. Her performance in the series was highly praised for which she won Best TV Actress and Best TV Actress - Critics' Choice Award at the 22nd Lux Style Awards.

Written by the legendary Bee Gul, and directed by Kashif Nisar, this Momina Duraid production which aired in 2017 was a head-turner from the very beginning. Yumna portrayed the nervous, frightened and meek Sila, and the project touched upon the issue of sexual harassment and sexual abuse within the confines of a household.
The actor is currently spending her 12th anniversary in showbiz taking part in press events for the upcoming drama, Gentleman which offers a promising story about Karachi’s street gangs. The drama airs from May 12, with Yumna starring opposite the likes of Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Zahid Ahmed and Sohai Ali Abro.
