‘Momager’ Kris Jenner says she’ll never retire
Kris Jenner opened up about her unwavering work ethic and her refusal to consider retirement, in a candid interview on This Life of Mine with James Corden.
When asked by Corden if she plans to retire anytime soon, the 68-year-old momager firmly replied, "No."
She attributes this determination to her mother, Mary Jo Campbell, who worked until she was 82. "My job kept me young and with purpose and joy," Campbell often tells her daughter.
For Kris, managing the careers of her famous daughters, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie, brings her immense fulfillment.
"It gives you all sorts of different qualities in your life," she noted. "It's finding solutions, using your organisational and people skills, and presenting yourself to the world."
Her expertise is especially critical when tensions arise between her daughters.
Addressing a recent feud between Kourtney and Kim, Kris clarified that it wasn't about jealousy but rather a business misunderstanding.
Despite being the family mediator, she admits it's challenging to ensure everyone is pleased.
The interview comes after Kris's recent revelation about a tumour.
In a tearful moment from the trailer for season 5 of The Kardashians, Kris shared her health scare with her daughters and boyfriend Corey Gamble.
She remains determined to publicly support her children and juggle her responsibilities.
Season 5 of the Kardashians premieres May 23 on Hulu.
