Volleyball teams from Iran, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan arrive in Pakistan
The anticipation for the Engro Central Asian Volleyball Nations League reaches new heights as teams from Iran, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan have also arrived today in Islamabad to take part in the event from May 11 to May 17, 2024.
The arrival of these international teams marks a significant milestone for the Engro Central Nation’s Volleyball League, reaffirming its status as a prominent event in the volleyball calendar. With players and officials from Iran, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan now on Pakistani soil, excitement is building among fans and enthusiasts alike.
Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) officials were present at the airport to extend a warm welcome to the visiting teams. The players and officials exchanged greetings and embraced the spirit of friendly competition.
The Engro Central Asian Volleyball Nations League will feature six national teams competing for the championship title. In addition to Iran, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan, teams from Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and host nation Pakistan will also compete for glory in this highly anticipated event. The Afghanistan team will arrive tomorrow on 10 May 2024.
