Cuba Gooding Jr. has spoken out about his alleged involvement in Sean "Diddy" Combs' ongoing legal woes. In a PBD podcast appearance, the actor emphatically denied the sexual assault claims against him, calling them "the craziest thing I ever heard."

The allegations stem from a lawsuit filed against Diddy by music producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones. Jones claims the music mogul drugged, threatened, and sexually assaulted him, later amending his complaint to include Gooding as a defendant. Jones alleges Diddy tried to "pass him off" to Gooding and failed to intervene when Gooding forcibly touched him.

Gooding denies the accusations, maintaining his innocence and claiming he hardly knows Diddy. He met the rapper through his girlfriend, who used to handle publicity for Diddy's White Party.  Gooding asserts his limited contact with Diddy and the presence of others at the time of the alleged incident.

While Diddy has also denied the allegations, Homeland Security raided two of his properties in March as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. Though not arrested or charged, Diddy's lawyer condemned the "excessive show of force" used during the raids.

Gooding, expressing sympathy with Diddy's situation, believes "only time will tell" who was involved.  He maintains his distance, claiming, "I don't know P. Diddy's life."
