Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe in the first season of Netflix's "Wednesday," will not be returning for season two.

The news comes after the cast list for the new season was released on May 7, 2024, and White was noticeably absent.

White faced allegations of sexual misconduct in January 2023, which he has denied. Following the accusations, some fans called for his removal from the series.

In a June 2023 Instagram post, White addressed the allegations, stating they were "untrue" and part of a "campaign of misinformation."

He claimed his family was doxxed and his friends received death threats. White also denied claims of him being  bigoted or negligent towards others' safety.

Despite his absence from season two, White's reaction on social media suggests he is accepting the news.

Hours after the cast list was revealed, White re-shared a photo of the season two cast on his Instagram story, originally posted by "Wednesday" co-creator Alfred Gough.

His caption read: "I had so much fun working on this show. I can't wait to watch season two. Much love."

Neither White nor Netflix have commented on the reasons for his departure from the series.

While White is not returning, Jenna Ortega will reprise her role as Wednesday Addams in season two, which is currently filming.
