Justin Bieber is set to headline Coachella 2026, marking the first time in his career he will lead the festival’s line-up. The singer is scheduled to perform on April 11 and April 18, in what is being positioned as a significant moment following a period of personal and professional change.

The performances follow the release of his 2025 album Swag, which earned four Grammy nominations and achieved both commercial and critical recognition.

The project also included audio clips referencing interactions with paparazzi, reflecting moments that drew attention to Bieber’s wellbeing during the same period.

Bieber’s recent activity comes after he ended his Justice tour early in 2022, citing exhaustion and a need to prioritise his health. That year, he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which resulted in partial facial paralysis.

In 2023, he also parted ways with longtime manager Scooter Braun and sold the rights to his music catalogue released through 2021 for a reported sum exceeding $200 million.

Ahead of Coachella, Bieber has performed a series of smaller shows in Los Angeles, including appearances at the Roxy Theatre in March and the Troubadour in April.

At these events, he performed songs exclusively from Swag, including tracks such as Daisies, Yukon, Go Baby and Devotion.

He also appeared at the Grammy Awards earlier this year, performing Yukon in a stripped-down set. Executive producer Ben Winston said of the rehearsal, “He came to the stage, he did it once. It was brilliant.”
