PTI narrative to take it to blind alley: Vawda

Some PTI leaders pretend support for Khan while questioning their integrity, reveals Vawda

Senator Faisal Vawda has warned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf of repercussions of strong statements, saying the statements will take the party to the blind alley.

Talking to a private TV, the Senator said it is not the case that all in the PTI are anti-establishment or anti-institution, but a mischievous group, which is found in every party.

It’s the hidden desire of PTI that PTI founder Imran Khan should remain behind bars and in return they could cash in on his popularity, said Vawda.

He said some PTI leaders make statements to make the PTI founder realise that the party leaders stood behind him, whereas in reality, their integrity was questionable.

The Senator said it is the tradition of Pakistan and South Asia that one has to apologize to his father as he has a stature, adding, “Sometimes, we differ from the father and go against him but in the end we have to seek pardon from him.”

The Senator said the crux of the matter is that PTI needs to show responsibility and they need to defuse the situation.

He advised Imran Khan to keep the disruptive clique at bay and saner elements at the forefront, adding that he should not believe in hearsay.

To a question, Faisal Vawda said the court’s decision in the Iddat case is ‘absurd’, adding that couples without marriage seem better off in light of the verdict.

To another question, Vawda said the conflicts are resolved on the table worldwide, adding it never happened in the history of the country that the rigged elections were reversed and neither would it happen this time.
