Let it be: Beatles documentary released on Disney+

The digital restoration of "The Beatles: Let It Be" is now available for streaming.

Peter Jackson's Beatles documentary series, "The Beatles: Get Back," was originally released in 2021 and received widespread acclaim when it premiered on Disney+.

The three-part series, almost eight hours long, shows John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr recording their last album, "Let It Be," in January 1969.

The series used footage filmed by director Michael Lindsay-Hogg for his 1970 documentary "Let It Be," which had been mostly unseen for over 50 years, except for poor-quality VHS copies and unauthorized copies.

Fans see Lindsay-Hogg's film as not only a valuable record of the Beatles' final creative moments but also a testament to their disagreements leading to their breakup.

On May 8, Jackson's team released a restored version of "Let It Be," which is now streaming on Disney+ in partnership with Apple Corps, the company that oversees the Beatles creative and business interests.
