Oil terminal: ‘Second phase to cost Rs313m’
Work on the second phase is expected to be completed within a year.
KARACHI:
The city government had already completed the first phase of the Zulfiqarabad oil terminal project while the second phase costing Rs313 million has been sent to the government for approval, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Mohammad Hussain Syed said on Tuesday. The project will pave way for shifting of oil tankers’ terminals outside the city, Syed added. Work on the second phase is expected to be completed within a year. He said that a technical committee in this connection was being formed and all stakeholders will be taken on board.
