King Charles spotted on car ride hours before Prince Harry's UK return for Invictus Games ceremony
King Charles has been sighted shortly before the anticipated arrival of Prince Harry to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex, aged 39, is scheduled to arrive in the country ahead of tomorrow night's Invictus Games ceremony.
According to the Sun, It is understood that Harry will not meet his brother during his visit but is eager to see his father.
The Sun also shared the latest photo showing the monarch being driven away from Windsor Castle on his way to Clarence House reportedly in anticipation of his youngest son's imminent arrival.
The 75-year-old King, who has been given clearance to resume public duties while undergoing treatment for cancer, is anticipated to be present at the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the year.
Both occasions are scheduled to conclude around 6 pm, paving the way for the first encounter since Harry's brief visit in early February.
A royal source told The Sun: “Harry is normally 5,000 miles away in California but by happy coincidence on Wednesday they will be just two miles apart.
“It’s clear he is keen to see his father as he continues his recovery and most people expect another reunion of some kind next week.”
The prospective gathering is unlikely to involve Prince William, who has been affected by his brother's criticisms and has refrained from communicating with him since Queen Elizabeth's funeral.
