Sabrina Carpenter “working late” in Met Gala gown
Sabrina Carpenter has wowed audiences in her floral-inspired Oscar de la Renta gown for the 2024 Met Gala.
The singer’s show-stopping ensemble featured a black velvet bodice, complete with a voluminous blue satin skirt.
Carpenter took to Instagram to show off her look, with the caption, “I’m working late” – a lyric from her latest single, “Espresso,” that prompted a meme trend.
The post quickly went viral, with several users completing the lyric. Pinterest’s official Instagram account also left a flattering comment on the post, “CAUSE YOU’RE EATING UP THE MET.”
The “Feather” singer was accompanied by her partner, actor Barry Keoghan, marking their red carpet debut as a couple.
Keoghan complimented her look in his sophisticated Burberry suit, comprising an olive velvet tailored jacket, a classic black pinstripe wool waistcoat, a ruffled silk poplin shirt, and tailored trousers.
The “Saltburn” actor added a finishing touch with a black wool top hat and polished black leather oxford boots.
