Met Gala 2024 fashion fumbles: Some stars miss the mark on the red carpet

From blow-up gowns to tree-like ensembles, some celebrities at the Met Gala left fashion critics bewildered.

The Met Gala is known as fashion's biggest night of the year, but some celebrities' desire to make a style statement went disastrously wrong on the prestigious red carpet.

While many guests dazzled at the gala, others gave off more of a Halloween vibe.

This year's theme, "The Garden of Time," aligns with the new exhibition it honors, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."

Ironically, several attendees looked like they had just rolled out of bed and onto the red carpet.

Lastly, those who wandered away from the theme, fell short, or chose a basic suit, like actors Hugh Jackman, Jamie Dornan, and Matt Damon, need to step up their game.

Gentlemen, this is the Met Gala after all.
