Zendaya, co-chair of the 2024 Met Gala, graced the red carpet in not one, but two unforgettable looks.

For her first look, the actor opted for a custom, haute couture gown by John Galliano for Maison Margiela Artisanal.

Keeping with the gala's “The Garden of Time” theme, the emerald green and electric blue masterpiece featured intricate details and a hand-embroidered corsage, paired with a dramatic hat by Stephen Jones.

But Zendaya wasn't done there. Later in the evening, she surprised everyone with a second appearance, this time in a vintage John Galliano gown from his debut haute couture collection for Givenchy in 1996.

Sourced from Lily et Cie, a famed vintage boutique in Beverly Hills, the black off-the-shoulder gown with a long train was previously worn by supermodels Veronica Webb and Nadja Auermann.

According to Lily et Cie’s founder Rita Watnick, Zendaya’s stylist visited her store weeks before the Met Gala. Watnick told The Hollywood Reporter that the vintage Galliano gown was the only one Zendaya tried on and that “it was clear she felt really good in it.”

Complementing the vintage Galliano gown, Zendaya donned a vintage Alexander McQueen hat adorned with roses. Bulgari jewels added a touch of sparkle to both of her Met Gala looks.

Zendaya’s attendance marks her first appearance at the Met Gala since 2019, when she wore a Cinderella-inspired ball gown.
