The child stars who stole hearts in the 1993 comedy classic "Mrs.Doubtfire" recently reunited after 31 years, proving their onscreen bond endures.  Mara Wilson, Lisa Jakub, and Matthew Lawrence, who played the children of Robin Williams and Sally Field, shared their joy on social media.

"It's always a joy to see Lisa Jakub and Matthew Lawrence," Wilson posted with a photo of the trio. Jakub echoed the sentiment, adding that even decades later, Wilson and Lawrence still feel like her siblings.

Fans were thrilled by the reunion, but the get-together also brought back bittersweet memories. Director Chris Columbus revealed that he and Williams discussed a sequel shortly before the actor's passing in 2014. However, Columbus emphasised that without Williams, a "Mrs. Doubtfire" follow-up would never happen.

Columbus also shared that Williams improvised extensively during filming, resulting in a vast, unseen archive of footage. The director hopes to turn this unused material into a documentary honouring Williams' comedic genius.
