Just listen: Asim Azhar drops debut album ‘Bematlab’ with sweet thank you note for fans

Record features collaborations with Hasan Raheem, Talha Anjum, others

After 11 years in the music industry, Asim Azhar has hit a milestone with the release of his debut album Bematlab. The overjoyed singer took to Instagram to announce the release of the much-anticipated record with a heartfelt post.

Asim posted a small video in the grid featuring his collaborators Talhah Yunus, Talha Anjum, Umair and Hasan Raheem, as they celebrated the culmination of their hard work and dedication. However, eagle-eyed fans couldn't help but notice the absence of Nehaal Naseem, sparking speculation among followers. Despite this, Asim’s focus remained on the excitement of his album's release.

In the caption accompanying the post, Asim poured his heart out, expressing his disbelief that the day had finally arrived for fans to immerse themselves in his musical journey. He wrote, “My debut album Bematlab is out now! I cannot believe that you all are finally listening to it today. Thank you for making me believe that I can. Thank you for all these years.”

With palpable gratitude, he continued, acknowledging the unwavering support of his fans and the profound impact they've had on his career. Asim added, “There's a lot to say in my heart but for now, just listen to the album and tell me how you find it.” He urged followers to listen to the album and share their thoughts, emphasising that “this is only for you and for everyone who has helped me survive - without any condition or ulterior motive. Bematlab.”

Azhar didn't forget to express his appreciation for his showbiz colleagues and the steady support of his family, who played an instrumental role in bringing his musical vision to fruition. “Also, nothing but love for my fam who made this happen. Thank you for becoming a part of something so special to me,” he wrote, encapsulating the deep sense of joy permeating the moment.

The record features 7 songs, of which 5 are collaborations with other artists. Among the featured artists, familiar names like Anjum and Yunus sparked excitement for tracks Bematlab and Karma respectively, recalling previous joint efforts that struck a chord with listeners. However, it's the promise of new partnerships that truly ignites anticipation, none more so than the collaboration with Hasan, renowned for his contemporary flair and innovative soundscapes.

While Hasan will feature on the song You, Nehaal will liven up the musician’s debut album with Mujhsa Na whereas Umair will appear on Kyun.
