Cher prefers dating younger men: “They were raised by women like me”

Cher has opened up about her preference for younger boyfriends.

In a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the iconic singer and actor said, “The reason I go out with young men is because men my age or older… well, now they're all dead, but before they were just never, they were always terrified to approach me.”

About her preference for younger men, she revealed “They were raised by women like me.”

In the same interview, she also revealed that she turned down advances from Elvis Presley because she was too “nervous” about his reputation.

Currently, Cher is dating music executive Alexander "AE" Edwards, 40 years her junior. After a brief split in May 2023, the couple reconnected.

“I told my friends, don’t fall in love with a younger man, we’re too old. And don’t fall in love by text. There goes that theory,” Cher said during an episode of “Chicken Shop Date” in December 2023.
