She spoke warmly of her bond with Michelle Obama, praising her humour and deep values. 

However, her remarks about Markle were more measured, stating simply, "I know her," and admitting they have not spent much time together. 

The conversation then shifted to Kate Middleton and her health challenges, which deeply moved Grégoire Trudeau.

Despite the apparent coolness in the recent interview, Markle has previously shared warm memories of their time together. 

On a 2021 podcast episode, she reminisced about an afternoon by the pool with their children, where they bonded over shared experiences of motherhood and life in the public eye. 

Markle has spoken highly of Grégoire Trudeau's support during her pregnancy, highlighting the strength and encouragement she received from her.
