The Pakistan Army has announced the successful completion of preservation efforts at the mausoleum of Captain Kernal Sher Khan Shaheed (Nishan Haider) in Swabi.
This undertaking was initiated in response to heartfelt requests from the martyr's family and the local community and reflects the nation's deep reverence for its heroes.
The preservation and adornment project, carried out by the Pakistan Army, has transformed the mausoleum into a tribute to Captain Kernal Sher Khan's sacrifice and valour.
Completed within a commendable timeframe of four months, the mausoleum now stands as a symbol of remembrance, adorned with commemorative photographs and artefacts that illuminate the life and legacy of the revered martyr.

A dignified ceremony marked the completion of the reconstruction and decoration, with Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat inaugurating the mausoleum. The ceremony, saw Corps Commander Peshawar laying flowers and reciting Fatiha to honour the martyrs.
During the ceremony, Corps Commander Peshawar had the privilege of meeting with Captain Kernal Sher Khan's family, expressing profound respect and gratitude for the martyr's service to the nation.
The family, along with the local community, extended heartfelt appreciation to the Pakistan Army for their unwavering dedication to preserving the memory of their beloved hero.
