NFL Star Jared Goff talks 'Beverly Hills Cop' inspiration ahead of 'Axel F' release

Get ready for a blast from the past with a side of laughs!  Netflix has released a hilarious comedy featurette hyping the upcoming 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F', and it features NFL quarterback Jared Goff offering a unique perspective.  Goff shares how Eddie Murphy's iconic character, Axel Foley, surprisingly helped him adjust to life in Detroit after his trade from the Los Angeles Rams.

In 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F', Murphy returns as the street-smart detective Axel Foley.  He's lured back to California when his daughter's life is in danger, thrusting him into a new investigation surrounding the suspicious death of a close friend.

The film features an all-star cast, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Taylour Paige, Kevin Bacon, and original 'Beverly Hills Cop' stars Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Bronson Pinchot, and Paul Reiser.  Mark Molloy directs this action-comedy sequel, with a screenplay by Will Beall, Tom Gormican, and Kevin Etten.

Set for release on July 3rd, 2024, 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F' promises the same thrilling mix of action, humour, and nostalgia that defined the original films. Fans eagerly anticipate Murphy's return as the legendary Axel Foley and a thrilling ride back to Beverly Hills.
