Benny Blanco gushes over Selena Gomez: “I’m in love!”

Musician Benny Blanco revealed details about his relationship with Rare Beauty founder Selena Gomez in a recent interview with Wall Street Journal Magazine, admitting that it took him a while to realize they were meant to be more than friends.

"I was the last one to know," Blanco, 36, confessed to the outlet.

"It’s crazy how your partner could just be sitting there the whole time, right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even notice, and then you have that Clueless moment where you’re like, 'Wait, I’m in love.!'"

The two stars had known each other for years before officially becoming a couple in June 2023. They had previously collaborated on the 2019 single "I Can't Get Enough" with Tainy and J Balvin.

In the music video for the song, Blanco and Gomez, 31, shared a sweet scene on an oversized bed, with Blanco dressed as a plush bear and Gomez in pajamas.

Following this, the couple shared photos from various dates and made their first public appearances at sporting events and the 2024 Golden Globes. Gomez spoke about their relationship in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe in February.

“Without getting into too much detail, I think it's just really important to meet someone that respects you,” she said. “And I think it's really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I'd have to say overall it's the safest that I feel and it's been really lovely and I've only grown through it, so it's awesome.”
