April 21st would have marked Queen Elizabeth II's 98th birthday.

Although she passed away in September 2022 at the age of 96, her family and former staff will privately honour her legacy.

Grant Harrold, a former butler to King Charles and Queen Camilla, shared insights to Slingo. into how the royals will commemorate the day with toasts, reflections, and perhaps flowers at her gravesite in Windsor Castle.

Harrold recalls the Queen's sense of humour, which she subtly displayed on numerous occasions.

Queen Elizabeth, born Princess Elizabeth in 1926, dedicated her life to service. This April 21st marks her second posthumous birthday, and the royal family is most likely to publicly honour her memory with social media posts.

Harrold remembers the Queen's presence and meticulous attention to detail. Her commitment to duty and warm personality left an impression on those who served her.
