Taylor Swift overjoyed at positive reviews for “The Tortured Poets Department”

The “Fortnight” singer received rave reviews for her latest album from Rolling Stone, The Times, and Independent.

Taylor Swift’s 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” has debuted to critical acclaim from a number of publications. 

Swift took to Instagram on April 21 to reshare some of the reviews, writing a lyric from the album for each post on her story.

Starting with Rolling Stone’s review, she took a lyric from the album’s title track, “And that’s the closest I’ve come to my heart exploding.”

The 14-time Grammy winner captioned The Times’ interview next, with a lyric from “The Alchemy.”

The singer concluded her series of posts with another lyric from “The Tortured Poets Department” for The Independent’s review, “Everyone we know understands why it’s meant to be.”

With 31 tracks – as of the latest 2am surprise release – Swift’s new album has already broken Spotify records, making her the most streamed artist in a single day. 

She also holds the last three records for most streamed album, with “The Tortured Poets Department” topping “Midnights” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
