Three months ahead of their scheduled face-off, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul took to social media to shower praise on boxing legend Mike Tyson for his continued support of rising stars like Ryan Garcia.
In the wake of Garcia's upset victory over Devin Haney on Saturday night, Tyson shared a video of himself interacting with both fighters before the match.
Paul commented on the video, highlighting Tyson's admirable contributions to the sport, "Love this Mike thank you for all you do for boxing and supporting the next generation.”

Though Tyson retired in 2005, his reputation in boxing has aged like fine wine. At 58, he is revered as a respected elder statesman in his post-fighting career.
The renowned boxer, known as “Iron Mike,” remains a recognisable figure within the boxing world, and is known to offer guidance and coaching to up-and-coming fighters.
Paul and Tyson’s match, scheduled on July 24th later this year at the AT&T stadium, will be Tyson’s first fight after four years of being away from the ring.
“Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson” will be streamed live on Netflix.
