Following her breakthrough on "American Idol," Mandisa launched her debut album, "True Beauty," in 2007. The album made history by debuting at the top of Billboard’s Christian album chart for a female artist.
Her lead single, "Only the World," debuted at No. 2 on the hot singles chart and claimed the No. 1 spot in its second week.
In 2014, Mandisa won a Grammy Award in the Best Contemporary Christian Music category for her album "Overcomer."
Mandisa stood as one of only five "American Idol" alumni to secure a Grammy, joining the ranks of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Tori Kelly.
