Justin Bieber grieves rapper Chris King’s shocking death, “Love you bro. This one hurts.”

King’s close friend, Trippie Redd, confirmed the news of his death in an Instagram post on Saturday.

Rapper Chris King's unexpected death over the weekend has sent shockwaves through the music industry. Tributes are pouring in online as friends and fellow artists remember the California-based musician.

Justin Bieber took to Instagram, sharing a throwback video of himself and King, dated December 1st 2023, with the caption: "Love you bro. This one hurts. Please keep his family in your prayers. See you in paradise brother."

King's close friend, rapper Trippie Redd, confirmed the news on Saturday April 20th, posting a series of photos with King on Instagram and writing: "I am so hurt rn I can't even think I love you bro come back!!!!"

 

 

The cause of King's death remains unclear. Speculation online suggests a possible connection to a shooting in Nashville, Tennessee, where King was just hours before his passing according to his social media posts.

The late rapper’s final post showed him celebrating a friend's birthday at an event in Nashville, even sharing the venue's address.

 

 

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly also shared his heartbreak over King's death, revealing they had planned to meet in Nashville that very weekend.  Kelly posted a photo of the three of them together, expressing his regret for missing their planned studio session.

"They broke my heart with this one," Kelly wrote. "Late night studio freestyles won't be the same w/o you my brudda."

He also posted a screenshot of his last conversation with King, writing “this sad af for real. the streets have no code no more. bro came to do a show and share his talent and i vouched for the vibe. i'm sick.”
