Get ready for more wasteland! "Fallout" Season 2 confirmed

The show's success and planned move to California were key factors in the renewal.

Amazon Prime Video's adaptation of the beloved video game franchise, "Fallout," has officially been renewed for a second season by Amazaon Studios. The announcement comes hot on the heels of news that Season 2 will receive substantial tax credits for relocating its filming location to California.

Set centuries after a devastating nuclear war, "Fallout" offers a darkly humorous and stylized look at a shattered world. Viewers follow the story of vault dwellers, who emerge from their underground shelters to find a landscape fraught with danger and unpredictable characters.

Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as creators, showrunners, and executive producers on the series. They join forces with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy via Kilter Films, as well as Bethesda Game Studios' Todd Howard and James Altman.  Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce, in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

"Fallout" boasts a star-studded cast, including Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Walton Goggins, and more.
