Dua Lipa takes a plunge into summer with the release of "Illusion," the latest single from her upcoming album "Radical Optimism."

The vibrant music video, directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Tanu Muino, showcases Lipa's captivating presence amidst a backdrop of synchronized swimmers, high divers, and energetic dancers.

Filmed at the iconic Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc in Barcelona, the same location as Kylie Minogue's legendary "Slow" video, "Illusion" boasts a stunning visual aesthetic.

Lipa effortlessly rocks a series of summery outfits while delivering a powerful performance that complements the song's message of self-awareness and empowerment.

"Illusion" serves as the third single from "Radical Optimism," set to officially drop on May 3rd, 2024. It follows the previously released and visually striking tracks "Houdini" and "Training Season."

The song itself, co-written by Lipa alongside Caroline Ailin, Danny L Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Kevin Parker, holds a special place in the album's creation.

"It really broke the ice for the record," Lipa shared in a press statement. "'Illusion' is about knowing what you're getting yourself into, but staying for the fun of the game. You won't fall for an illusion."

With "Illusion" garnering more than three million views within 24 hours of its debut, fans are eagerly awaiting the full release of "Radical Optimism" on May 3rd.

Lipa herself expressed her excitement on Instagram, stating, "I hope you love this song and video as much as we really truly loved and had fun making this!"
