Billie Eilish just announced her third album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT," coming out on May 17th.
The "What Was I Made For" singer wrote on social media, "MY THIRD ALBUMMMMMMMMMMMMM COMES OUT MAY 17THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHH".
The post included a picture of the album cover. In the photo, she is underwater, swimming toward an open white door.
Eilish shared that she feels nervous and excited about the album. She said, "So crazy to be writing this right now i’m nervyyyyy & exciteddd. Not doing singles i wanna give it to you all at once. Finneas and i truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it. Love you love you love you."

The announcement came after Billie posted a mysterious video teasing the album. In the video, she sinks into dark blue waves but is saved by another hand at the last moment.
“READY?” the Oscar-winning artist captioned the video.
Eilish has been talking about the album for several weeks. Last week, she teased the album with billboards in major cities worldwide.

The billboards featured her "blohsh" symbol and lyrics from the album, such as "Did I cross the line?," "I try to live in black and white," and "She’s the headlights I’m the deer."
Over the last three years Billie and Finneas had been busy promoting their song "What Was I Made For?" from the "Barbie" film and haven't released an album since "Happily Ever After" in July 2021.
