Aamer’s five-for rocks Kent’s reply

Mohammad Aamer led Pakistan’s charge on the second day of their tour match against Kent. The left-arm bowler captured five for 54 to restrict Kent to 259, giving Pakistan a 101-run first-innings lead.

Joe Denly and James Goodman struck half-centuries for the home side as despite reasonable starts, none of the Kent batsmen went on to make decent scores. Umar Gul and Shoaib Malik provided able support to Aamer with a brace each.

Pakistan reached 86 for one at close of play on day three with Fawad Alam (29*) and Umar Amin (42*) sharing a 72-run unbroken second-wicket partnership.
