Anne Hathaway and Cillian Murphy shine in latest Versace campaign

While Murphy makes his maiden appearance for Versace, Hathaway is in familiar territory reuniting with the brand.

Versace has unveiled Anne Hathaway and Cillian Murphy as the luminous faces behind its latest Versace Icons campaign. Creative director Donatella Versace made the exciting announcement, praising the duo's exceptional acting prowess and personal virtues.

 

Describing them as "Strong, direct, iconic," Donatella expressed her admiration for the actors, stating, "Anne and Cillian are two of the best actors of today. Exceptionally talented and kind people I admire and respect, looking their best. Very Versace."

 

Both Hathaway, 41, celebrated for her role in "Interstellar," and Murphy, 47, acclaimed for his performance in "Oppenheimer," bring significant star quality to the campaign, being celebrated figures in Hollywood with Academy Awards to their names.

 

 

Murphy's recent Oscar accolade for his lead role in the Christopher Nolan directed biopic has catapulted him further into the spotlight.

 

A sneak peek of the campaign shared by Donatella on Instagram showcases Hathaway in a striking denim ensemble, while a focus on Murphy hints at leveraging his recent Oscar win and rising popularity in the US Donatella's post emphasised, "Cillian Murphy for Versace Icons I saw the Versace man in him right away... I hope you all love the campaign as much as we loved shooting it."

 

 

For Hathaway, this campaign marks a familiar territory as she reunites with the fashion brand, whereas Murphy is making his inaugural appearance in Versace's first men's Icons campaign. Notably, Murphy has a history with the fashion house, having donned an Atelier Versace tuxedo the night of his Oscar victory, cementing his stylish connection to the brand.
