Sahir apologises for 'revealing truth' about Rahat after Ali intervenes
In a surprising turn of events, tensions between Pakistani musicians Sahir Ali Bagga and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan have come to the forefront following a scathing social media post by Bagga. The incident, which has since been deleted, has ignited a wave of speculation and debate within the industry.
The former took to social media to express his grievances against Khan. In a now-deleted Instagram Story and post, Bagga accused Khan of being a hypocrite and a brutal individual, using strong language to convey his disdain.
The remarks quickly caught the attention of fans and industry insiders, sparking a flurry of reactions and speculation about the nature of the feud between the two musicians. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when fellow artist Ali Zafar intervened, advising Bagga to reconsider his actions, particularly given the sacredness of the Holy month of Ramadan.
"Dear brother, I would request you to kindly maintain the spirit of Ramazan as you mentioned in your post earlier that mentioned, 'Guard our tongue, not judge others'. We are all flawed in our own way. May Allah show us the light and may peace be upon us all. Ameen," shared Zafar. Realizing the gravity of his words, Bagga said, "Thanks. I apologise for revealing any truth about someone during Ramazan. I am now deleting the post."
While the exact cause of the rift between Bagga and Khan remains unclear, the incident underscores the delicate dynamics within the Pakistani music industry. As fans await further developments, it remains to be seen whether Bagga and Khan will be able to reconcile their differences and move past this episode.
