Rising star Chance Perdomo dies in tragic accident at 27

While Perdomo’s family asked for privacy, production on the second season of “Gen V” has been delayed indefinitely.

British-Amrerican actor Chance Perdomo, acclaimed for the roles he played in  “Gen V” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” has passed away after a motorcycle accident.

 

In a statement released to Variety by Perdomo's publicist, the heartbreaking news was confirmed: “With profound sadness, we announce the sudden departure of Chance Perdomo due to a motorcycle mishap. According to officials, the incident was a solitary event.”

 

The LAPD and the LA coroner's office have yet to provide details regarding the location or specifics of the accident.

 

Perdomo's untimely death has profoundly impacted those who knew him and admired his work. 

 

The “Gen V” production team shared their memories, stating, “Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.”

 

After moving from Los Angeles to London, Perdomo's acting career flourished. He earned a BAFTA nomination for his role in “Killed by My Debt.” 

 

He also made notable contributions to the film industry, particularly in the “After” series, where he portrayed Landon Gibson, alongside Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin. 

 

In the wake of this tragedy, Perdomo’s family has asked for privacy. Production on the second season of “Gen V” has been delayed indefinitely, marking the profound loss of a rising star.
