KARACHI:

The Hyderi police have filed a case against unidentified suspects in connection with the murder of a citizen identified as Mursal, whose body was found on the night between Wednesday and Thursday in North Nazimabad, Block H.

The police registered the FIR on the complaint of Yasin M. Siddiqui, a resident of Bismillah Residency, North Nazimabad, Block D, who reported that he was on duty on the night of March 21 while his son had left home alone earlier for work.

Around 4am, his daughter called and informed him that Mursal had been injured in a road accident and was receiving treatment at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. “When I reached the hospital, I was shown Mursal’s body in the mortuary. Mursal was fatally shot dead by unknown assailants,” Siddiqui said.

According to the complainant, his son was engaged in freelance work, and the car his son used had been provided to his daughter by her employer. The complainant maintains that neither he nor his son had any disputes or enmity with anyone, and he does not suspect anyone in particular.
