Shakira releases new album along with video for 'Punteria' featuring Cardi B
Shakira has released her new album, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" (Women No Longer Cry) after a seven-year gap.
This follows her 2017 Grammy-winning project "El Dorado."
The album's title and cover art hint at a theme of empowerment, possibly reflecting on her split from Spanish footballer and Barcelona star Gerard Piqué.

Shakira doubles down on this theme with the music video for "Puntería," that features Cardi B and was released on the same day as her new album.
In a recent interview, Cardi B had expressed her long-time desire to collaborate with the Colombian singer telling the host for Million Dollaz Worth Of podcast that, “I always wanted to do a record with Shakira and it’s like, wow, it landed on my lap.”
This fiery collaboration is just one of 17 tracks on the album.
Fans can also expect a Tiësto remix of the previously released "Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 53" and a vinyl version of "Puntería."
It also features previously released tracks like the melancholic "Copa Vacía" with Manuel Turizo, the introspective "Monotonía" with Ozuna, and the heartwarming "Acróstico" featuring Shakira's sons.
