Hip hop icon Dr Dre announces collaborations with protege Eminem and Snoop Dogg

The legendary producer made the announcement after being inducted in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Legendary producer Dr Dre has made revelations about collaborating with Eminem and Snoop Dogg for their respective upcoming albums.

Dr Dre made the announcement during his Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance after being inducted in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Fellow rap icons 50 Cent,Snoop Dogg and Eminem had accompanied Dr Dre during his induction ceremony.

"Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year," Dr Dre said about working with his protege again. "He even gave me the green light to announce it right here!"

Dr Dre had played a pivotal role in launching Eminem's career. He signed him to a major label deal in 1998, producing the iconic "My Name Is" and other tracks on his groundbreaking debut.

This will be Eminem's 12th studio album, after 2020's chart topper "Music to Be Murdered By".

“I’m actually going to get the entire album for the first time tomorrow … I haven’t even heard anything complete that I’ve done, but I’m going to hear it and he’s putting out an album in 2024.”

Dr Dre also talked about his collaboration with Snoop Dogg for his upcoming album

"Missionary" will be the first album the two have worked on since "Doggystyle," Snoop's 1993 debut album.

Commenting on the choice of album title Dr Dre said, "The first album was called Doggystyle, so we decided to flip it, and call this one Missionary.”

Snoop Dogg added, “Dr Dre will begin mixing in mid-April.”
