Robbers injure two on resistance

A citizen was shot and injured in a robbery incident in Kareemabad on Sunday. The victim, 30-year-old Abid was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in a critical condition. Police said that the incident appears to be the result of offering resistance to a street crime.

The police were investigating the incident. Meanwhile, suspected robbers shot and injured another man, 40-year-old Muzammil, near Malir Bridge.

He was shifted to Civil Hospital for medical assistance. The police said that the official statement of the victim will be recorded after his recovery. A police case has been registered against the unidentified suspects.
