Two minor brothers died while their older sister was hospitalised after consuming poisonous food

Two minor brothers died while their older sister was hospitalised after consuming poisonous food in Kamal Ban village on Sunday evening. However, family sources rejected the possibility of any foul play. Ghulam Muhammad, a local teacher, told the Mansehra police that his three children, Javeria Bibi, 16, Rehan, 16, and Zubair, 10, were students at a local seminary. On
Sunday afternoon, they returned from the seminary to their mother served them home-cooked spinach. Soon after finishing their food, they started vomiting and were taken to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital Mansehra, said Muhammad. The two boys were later pronounced dead by the doctors, but the girl had her stomach washed and doctors reassured the family that she is out of danger. The doctors said that it was too early to determine the cause of death, but there is a possibility that a poisonous insect could have fallen in the food.
