City braces for stormy weekend
The port city may experience thunderstorms accompanied by rain on Friday, with intermittent heavy showers possible in some areas.
During the rainfall, expect strong winds and gusts, said Chief Meteorologist Karachi, Sardar Sarfraz. The spell of rain could persist at intervals until Saturday afternoon.

A weather system that has dumped 200mm of rain on Gwadar was gathering strength from the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman could intensify on Thursday, contributing to the weather changes in Karachi starting Friday morning, he said.
Following this, the rainfall is expected to commence, potentially continuing throughout Friday, with breaks in between. There’s also a possibility that the rain may continue until March 2.
