Insurance Claim: Pakistan Steel receives Rs310m

Pakistan Steel has received over Rs310 million in insurance claim following a ship carrying 25.81 tons of iron ore from India to Pakistan sank in the sea in the limits of India in March, a press release said on Monday. It said that MV Mirach left India’s loading ports Haldia and Vizag on March 24 for Pakistan. The ship struck a rock in the sea and eventually sank as water made its way into the vessel.
