Cycling: Squad cleared for Indian tour
A six-member team for the event will leave on September 9 with the race starting on September 11.

Pakistan’s cycling contingent has been cleared by the Indian authorities to participate in the Tour de Delhi with the Pakistan Sports Board also giving the team the green light to participate. A six-member team for the event will leave on September 9 with the race starting on September 11. The cyclists have been preparing hard for the event and the Pakistan Cycling Federation General Secretary Idrees Haider Khawaja is confident of a good show. “We’ve done the required training,” he said. “The boys have the potential to do well.”
