Resolve to form PTI-led govt in K-P for the third time in the coming days

PESHAWAR:

The nominee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for the office of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, nominated speaker of the provincial assembly, Aqibullah Khan, on Monday engaged in a crucial discussion with newly elected members of the assembly regarding government formation in the province.

All the MPAs-elect of the party attended the meeting held at K-P Speaker House.

Addressing the assembly members, Aqibullah Khan noted the challenging phase that Pakistan was currently undergoing and urged everyone to play a positive role in the nation's survival through patience.

He stressed the importance of upholding the trust bestowed upon them by the people, acknowledging the global attention on the recent general elections and the resilience displayed by voters.

Reflecting on the victory of PTI founder Imran Khan for the third consecutive time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Aqibullah Khan underscored the people's rejection of oppressive systems. "The electorate's unwavering support for Imran Khan in the face of various tactics demonstrates their intolerance towards oppression," he remarked.

He further expressed confidence in his party stating, "PTI is set to form the government for the third time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, affirming the people's trust in the leadership of the founding PTI."

He attributed the popularity of PTI to the development initiatives and restoration of law and order implemented during its previous terms.

Looking ahead, Aqibullah Khan assured that the government formation process in the province would be concluded in the coming days.

He said the party was committed to advancing public service missions, contributing to regional development, and engaging in legislative activities.
