Funds released for special police stations

IGP said the beautiful environment of the new police stations would be maintained with the financial support system

Funds will be given every month for the maintenance of Special Initiative Police Stations from the revenue of the district police.

Punjab IGP Dr Usman Anwar said that the 15 per cent share given by the provincial government from driving licences will be spent on improving the public facility centres.

He said instructions had been issued to all districts for the maintenance of the special police stations and first financial grant of Rs240 million had been released.

The IGP said the beautiful environment of the new police stations would be maintained with the financial support system.
