Allocation of funds for TP-III project discussed

Objective is to agree on timeline for project completion following disbursement of funds

The allocation of funds for the Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III project is set to be discussed in a meeting with the critical stakeholders including the Water Corporation, the Consultant, and the Contractor.

The objective is to agree on a timeline for project completion following the disbursement of funds, as the TP-III Sewage Treatment Plant is of vital importance to the city.

These sentiments were expressed by Mayor Karachi and Chairman of the Water Corporation, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, during his visit to the Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III in Mauripur. Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad, Town Chairman Kemari Humayun Khan, Deputy Parliamentary Leader of KMC Dil Muhammad, CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed, COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan, PD S-III Muhammad Hanif Baloch, and Consultants of the Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III also accompanied the mayor during the visit.

A spokesperson for the Water Corporation reported that the CEO provided a comprehensive briefing to the mayor about the Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III project. It was disclosed that the plant currently treats 54MGD of water, with plans to increase its capacity to 100MGD.
