PTI ready to talk to establishment: Raoof Hasan
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Raoof Hasan affirmed the party's readiness for dialogue with the establishment, emphasising that the purpose of contacting political parties is not to form an electoral alliance but to bring all political forces together on a unified platform.
Speaking on the Express News programme 'Center Stage' on Friday, Hasan highlighted that PTI's founder, Imran Khan, has consistently advocated for engaging with all political parties. He emphasised that if political parties engage in positive politics, there is no harm in holding meetings and fostering collaboration.
"The purpose of contacting political parties is not at all electoral alliance; our aim is that all political parties come together on one platform," stated Hasan during the programme.
Responding to JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s controversial statement regarding no-trust vote against Imran Khan’s government, Hasan clarified that PTI is not the target of Maulana and added, "It is not known whether we can go with Maulana Sahib or not."

"We are ready to talk to the establishment. PTI has always talked about talking to the establishment, and there is no harm in talking," asserted Hasan, emphasising the party's commitment to engaging in constructive dialogue.
Despite expressing the willingness to engage in talks, Hasan emphasised that PTI would not relinquish its right to protest and announced the party's decision to sit in the parliament. He reiterated that PTI's focus has always been on public welfare, aiming to address objections raised on the election and promote democratic values.
"We don't know whether the parties we invited will join us or not," added Hasan, acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding the response from other political entities.
