Police halt PTI rally, confiscate sound system

Police mobile units were stationed at liaison office to prevent any kind of rally by party

HYDERABAD:

Police intervened and obstructed a planned electoral rally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) , and confiscated their sound system along with the vehicle.

The disruption occurred at the Central Election and Liaison Office in Latifabad during the ongoing rally for National Assembly candidate Dr Mustansar Billah.

After being informed, the police contingent reached the location, instructing the participants of the rally halt immediately.

The police intervention led to a heated argument between a police officer and the PTI candidate.
