The Tourism Department in Sindh has kick-started an exhilarating journey on Friday with the commencement of a Heavy Bike Rally, drawing attention to the scenic beauty and cultural richness of the province.

The rally, featuring a diverse array of heavy bikes, set off from the iconic mausoleum of the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in Karachi.

The event aims to promote tourism in Sindh and showcase the region's diverse landscapes and historical landmarks. Riders from various backgrounds have enthusiastically joined the rally, turning it into a vibrant spectacle of horsepower and enthusiasm.

Adding a heartwarming touch to the opening ceremony, special children from Karachi participated, contributing to the festive atmosphere and highlighting the inclusive nature of the event. Their joy and excitement set the tone for a memorable start to this tourism-driven initiative.

The rally is charting a course that includes key destinations such as Bhambhor Fort, Thatta, Badin, Nokot, Mithi, Nagarparkar, and Rampur Dam. Currently, the Thar Off Road Bike Rally has reached Thatta, progressing along its scheduled routes and captivating the attention of onlookers.

Arshad Wali Muhammad, the esteemed chief guest at the inauguration, emphasised the eco-friendly nature of such events, applauding their positive impact on the younger generation. He urged the youth of Pakistan to actively participate in activities that not only foster a love for adventure but also contribute to environmental consciousness.

"I am delighted to witness the spirit and passion of the participants in this exciting Heavy Bike Rally. These events not only showcase the beauty of our land but also provide an excellent platform for our youth to engage in healthy and environmentally conscious activities," remarked Arshad Wali Muhammad.

Expressing gratitude, the chief guest extended special thanks to the participating biker groups and sponsors, including the Sindh Development Tourism Department, DHA City, Vital Tea, Taj Petroleum, and Thar Foundation. Their support and commitment have played a pivotal role in making the event a reality and ensuring its success.

As the Heavy Bike Rally continues its journey through the heart of Sindh, it promises not only a thrilling adventure for the riders but also a boost to the region's tourism sector, showcasing the cultural richness and natural beauty that Sindh has to offer.
